Karen Lee Grybowski - Founder and International Model Scout

Karen Lee's expert eye for top models combined with her extraordinary knowledge of the modeling business has provided her with the unique ability to discover that great new face! After receiving a Master's Degree in Education, Karen combined her background of modeling in New York's Top Showrooms, as well as being the director of health and fitness for "Camp Model" to eventually travel the globe in search of young women who possess the special qualities necessary to be successful in the modeling business. Karen has been instrumental in discovering, developing, and promoting many of the top models in the industry today. Her scouting for Wilhelmina, Pauline's and, most recently, Elite Model Management gave Karen the opportunity to discover great talent, but most  importantly, to empower young models by helping them develop a sense of health, wellness, style and confidence. Karen Lee was a major collaborator in the production of Elite Model Look, a premier worldwide model search that launched the careers of Cindy Crawford, Alessandra Ambrosio and Gisele Bündchen.  She was also influential in bringing Carolyn Murphy and Oluchi Onewegba to Elite Model Management at the onset of their careers.

In 2009, Karen decided to pursue her career independently and founded Karen Lee Group, a Scouting and Consulting Firm, where she continues to scout, consult, develop, place and manage talent. She also shares her in-depth knowledge of the modeling industry by mentoring young women at various workshops, and model searches throughout the country.  She supervises the elite model house, has been a guest judge on Tyra Bank’s "America's Next Top Model" and is a certified yoga teacher who teaches at workshops around the country and at the Atmananda Yoga Studio in Manhattan.
