  1. What are the height and size requirements for a fashion model?

    The following height and size requirements are used most often for High-Fashion models with some exceptions:

    Women: Height: 5’9"-6', Measurements: 34/24/35, Size: 2-4.  Full Figure/Curve models, Height 5’9" -6’, Measurements: 38/28/39+,  Size 12 and up

    Men: Height: 6’-6’3” Jacket size 38-40R Inseam 32-34 

  2. Do I have to spend money to start my modeling career?

    You are starting your own business, so yes, some start up money is required. This can be discussed with Karen Lee Group or your Mother Agent (MA)/Manager on a private basis.

  3. Can a modeling agency tell from digital photos/videos if you have what it takes to become a model?

    Yes, Agencies/Managers/Mother Agents usually require basic digitals and a brief video to decide whether or not to move forward talking with you and possibly signing you to a contract. 

  4. How do I get signed to an agency?

    Your Mother Agent/Manager most often packages and promotes you to reputable agencies by sending digitals/videos directly to the agency agreed upon. However, this can be done on an independent basis if you do not have a Mother Agent /Manager.

  5. Are modeling schools, camps, and workshops good places to start a modeling career?

    Development/coaching can be beneficial if guided by a reputable teacher/coach/manager.

  6. Are model conventions and searches good places to start a modeling career?

    Conventions and searches are not required but can be beneficial if the convention/search is reputable, affordable, and brings reputable scouts/agents/managers/casting directors to the event, even virtually.  

  7. What does a Mother Agent/Manager do?

    MotherAgent/Manager guides a beginning model and her parents through the early stages of a career and continues to work with you and the agency where you are placed. A Mother Agent/Manager can be beneficial to a model who is in the middle stages of her/his career as well.

  8. Do I need a MA/Manager?

    The MA/Manager can be extremely helpful if the Mother Agent/Manager is reputable and involved regularly in your career.
