7 Frequently asked questions by Models.

  1. What are the height and size requirements for a fashion model? Answer: Usually, Height: 5’9’-6’ with exceptions.  Measurements: Usually: 34/24/35 for fashion models Size 2-4.  Full Figure/Curve models starting at 38/28/39+  Size 12 and up. 

  2. Do I have to spend money to start my modeling career? Answer : You are starting your own business so yes some start up money is required that can be discussed with you and Karen Lee Group or you and your Mother Agent/Manager on a private basis. 

  3. Can a modeling agency tell from a digital photos/video if you have what it takes to become a model? Answer: Yes, agencies/mother agents/managers usually require basic digitals and a brief video to make a decision on if they want to move forward talking with you and possibly signing you. 

  4. How do I get signed to an agency? Answer: With the help of your mother agent/manager or by sending digitals/video directly to an agency.

  5. Are Modeling schools, camps, worships a good place to start a modeling career? Answer: Development/coaching is not required but can be beneficial if developed/coached by a reputable teacher/coach/manager.

  6. Are conventions and searches a good place to start a modeling career? Answer: Not required, but can be beneficial if the convention/search is reputable, affordable, and brings reputable agents/managers/casting directors to the event. 

  7. What does a mother agent/manager do? Answer: MA/manager guides a beginning model and her parents through the beginning stages of a career and continues to work with the agency that the mother agent places you with.  A mother agent/manager can be beneficial to a model that is in the middle stages of her career as well.  Do I need a MA/manager. Answer: Not required but can be extremely beneficial if the mother agent/manager is reputable and involved regularly in your career.
